On-site technician guide
Technicians visit customers in person. Visits are opening area by area. We will tell you when jobs open near you. This guide covers the application stages, setting up payouts, going on duty, accepting offers, and finishing a job.
Move through the application stages
Eight stages, shown in the app.
- The stages are: Application, W-9 and tax info (US only), Background check (typically 2-5 business days), Video verification (a 15-minute call), Test job (optional), Pending approval (typically 1-2 business days), Badge activation, and Active, shown as You're live in dispatch.
- Badges are standard, certified, and expert.
Get approved
The email explains how jobs reach you.
- When you are approved, you receive an email. On-site visits are opening area by area, so jobs reach you as your area opens.
- Finish badge activation to reach the Active stage.
Set up payouts
Earnings > Manage bank account.
- Open the Earnings tab and tap Manage bank account to connect your payout account.
- When it is done, the app shows Payout account connected.
Tip. Set this up early so it is ready when you finish your first job.

Turn on Accepting new requests.
- On Home, switch on Accepting new requests to receive offers. Offers start once visits open in your area.
- Turn it off when you are not available.

- An offer goes to one technician at a time. It shows the level, the pay, and a countdown.
- Tap Accept or Decline before it runs out.
- Accept an offer within 2 minutes of it arriving and earn 20 points.
Run the job
One next-step button takes you through the visit.
- Tap Navigate for directions. The next-step button then moves through On my way, I've arrived, Start work, and Complete visit.
- Chat, Call, and Video reach the customer inside the app. Do not trade personal phone numbers or email addresses.
- If the job is bigger than the booked level, propose a new level. The customer is asked to approve the new fixed price, or can cancel.
Get confirmed
The customer confirms, or it confirms after 48 hours.
- The customer taps Confirm job done. If they do nothing, the job confirms automatically 48 hours after you mark it done.
- If the customer taps Report an issue, a dispute opens. Our team reviews it and updates you in the app.
